Maintenance

ACRYLIC BATH

Regular disinfection is an excellent prevention against types of bacteria that can develop over time in the bathtub. For regular maintenance, use only a damp cloth and mild soap. You can apply a special acrylic bathtub cleaner to add shine and protect the finish. Stubborn stains: Use isopropyl alcohol to try to remove a particularly stubborn stain from the bathtub (isopropyl alcohol is toxic; follow the safety instructions on the container and wear rubber gloves). Never use abrasive products or powders (such as Vim, Ajax, Comet, etc.), petroleum distillates, or other solvents to clean the bathtub. Do not use a brush with metal bristles or abrasives to clean stains.

Do not use cleaning products containing abrasive powder (such as Vim, Ajax, Comet, etc.), petroleum distillates, chlorides, alcohol, ammonia or other solvents to clean the bathtub. Do not use a wire bristle brush, abrasive pads or brushes. Avoid the use of essential oils, acetone, peroxide, hair dye or Epsom salts.

To repair minor scratches: Superficial scratches can be removed with car wax (NuFinish, Meguiar) or polishing paste (compound). Major Repair: Major damage including deep scratches, chips and splits can often be repaired by a professional.

TOWEL WARMER

To keep the device clean, regular maintenance is suggested. To remove a stain, dampen a cloth. For better efficiency of the device, it is recommended to remove dust and moss which may accumulate regularly. Never use abrasive or acetone-based products.

STANDARD STAINLESS STEEL NICHE

Brushed Finish: Use only microfiber cloths and cleaners specifically designed for stainless steel. Always wipe in the direction of the grain to preserve the appearance of the niche. Although stainless steel is water-resistant, prolonged contact with metal accessories or certain cosmetic products can damage the surface and lead to partial corrosion. In case of issues, use a stainless steel decontaminant (such as CLR) and follow the manufacturer’s recommendations. Remove soap and cosmetic residues as well as excess water after each use.

Matte White/Matte Black Finish: Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, preferably a microfiber cloth. Use a non-abrasive cleaner. Rinse with fresh water and wipe away any residue after each use. Remove soap and cosmetic residues as well as excess water after each use.

Do not use brushes, abrasive products, scrapers, steel wool pads, or metal aerosol containers, as they can damage the finish of the niche. Also, avoid any contact with nail polish removers, depilatory creams, or paint solvents. To prevent oxidation, avoid contact with steel accessories. Rusty metal containers can damage the surface of your niche, so it is best to avoid them. Prolonged contact with certain cosmetic products can also stain the surface.

To repair the brushed finish: To remove a light scratch from a brushed stainless steel niche, use a very fine abrasive pad and gently rub in the direction of the grain.

PORCELAIN WASHBASIN

To ensure the sustainable use of Odass bathroom sinks, it is recommended to follow the guidelines below:

After each use, wipe the surface with a soft cloth. Use only soft liquid and non-abrasive cleaning products. Avoid petroleum- based products, such as paint thinners and other solvents. Do not allow the following substances to come into contact with the surface: nail polish remover, acetone, dry cleaning solutions, paint strippers, or caustic drain cleaners, as they can damage the surface. In case of contact, clean the surface and the surrounding areas immediately.

Do not use metal brushes, knives, or sharp objects to remove stains, cigarette tar deposits, or other imperfections. Abrasive cleaners and powders should be avoided, as they can alter the surface finish. Additionally, cigarette combustion can also damage the surface of the bathroom sink. We recommend against using the following products for the maintenance of porcelain bathroom sinks: abrasive cleaners such as Lestoil®, Lysol® disinfectant (in spray or concentrated form), Lysol® sink, tub, and tile cleaner, Windex®, Mr. Clean®, Dow® bathroom disinfectant cleaner, as well as all aerosol cleaning products.

PURE SURFACE COLLECTION BATH AND WASHBASIN

Regular disinfection is an excellent prevention against the types of bacteria that can develop over time in the bathtub. For regular maintenance, use only a damp cloth and mild soap. To remove a stubborn stain on the white finish only, you can use a slightly creamy product. Always carry out a test on a discreet area before.

Do not use cleaning products containing abrasive powder (such as Vim, Ajax, Comet, etc.), petroleum distillates, chlorides, ammonia or other solvents to clean the bathtub. Do not use a wire bristle brush, abrasive pads or brushes. Avoid the use of essential oils, acetone, peroxide, hair dye or Epsom salts.

To repair a scratch on the white finish only: Sand the area with sandpaper between 240, 400 and 800 grit. Start sanding with the sandpaper that has the coarsest grit followed by the finest. It is important not to sand the black finish. Contact the manufacturer Odass for any repair advice or contact a professional to repair the black finish. For a major repair: Significant damage including deep scratches, chips and splits can often be repaired by a professional.
